| Evaluation will be based on homework assignments (20%), an in-class examination
(35%), and a final exam (45%). The lowest homework score will be dropped when
computing the homework average. |
| Because homework solutions will be posted right after the homework
is submitted, late homework will not be accepted. |
| The midterm can be postponed only with a dean's excuse; a dean's
excuse will postpone the final until the second week of the spring semester. |
| Under no circumstances will an early midterm or final be given. |
