Nonlinear Tessellations

Construction

To construct the hyperbolic tiling above we will refer to a procedure described by Goodman-Strauss.
Where convenient we will depart from the strict compass and straightedge constructions, allowing measurements.
This tiling consists of triangles with angles 90, 45, and 30.
Step 1. Building a hexagon that is the scaffold for building the geodesic sides of some tiles.
Step 2. Constructing the circle C bounding the Poincare disc.
Step 3. Generating the sides of a tile.
Step 4. Finishing the first stage of the construction.
Additional constructions. Rotating geodesics to build the next stage of tiles.
