Yariv Aizenbud

I am a Gibbs assistant professor in the applied math program at Yale University. My Ph.D was in Applied Mathematics, School of Mathematical Sciences, at Tel-Aviv University under the supervision of Prof. Amir Averbuch and Prof. Yoel Shkolnisky.


My research is focused on statistical recovery of geometric structures.

The applications for my research are mainly in:

Latent tree variable models
Manifold Learning
Randomized Algorithms in Numerical Linear-Algebra
Cryogenic electron microscopy


I am also co-organizing the Applied Math seminar.
